The Students for Environmental Activism hosted Pacific University's first student-run Earth Day Music Festival in the spring of 2023 featuring plant-based food, a beer garden, sustainable resources, and local music bands. My role was to create a compelling logo for the festival that could be used year after year and apply the design across various promotional materials. The primary goal was to generate excitement and interest among students to attend the event.

Design Solution: I designed an eye-catching logo that encapsulated the spirit of Earth Day and the vibrant energy of the music festival. This design was then implemented on:

  • Posters

  • Social Media Posts

  • T-shirts

Impact: The festival was a resounding success, with high attendance and enthusiastic participation. The T-shirts featuring my design sold out rapidly, contributing to the overall success and positive reception of the event. Due to the overwhelming success and positive response in 2023, the event was repeated the following year. I was once again entrusted with creating the promotional designs. I utilized the logo and color scheme from the previous year for consistency, but I introduced a new illustration to spark fresh interest and excitement.

"Working with Annie on the Earth Day Music Festival was such a gift. Her designs brought the event to life—playful, grounded, and totally in sync with the festival’s values. Annie has a brilliant sense of visual storytelling and collaboration, and her work helped tie together all the energy, activism, and community we were building."
